He is a professor and doctoral supervisor at Xidian University. His major research directions include intelligent optimization, resource scheduling and task planning, etc. He is the Leader of Shaanxi Provincial Key Science and Technology Innovation Team of Collaborative Intelligent System, and the deputy director of Key Laboratory of Collaborative Intelligent Systems, Ministry of Education. He established the Intelligent Simulation Optimization and Scheduling Committee of the China Simulation Society and served as its chairman. He has published more than 100 academic papers, seven of which were selected into the top 1% and 10% of ESI cited papers. Relevant achievements have won 8 provincial and ministerial awards including the First Prize of Science and Technology Award of China Simulation Society and the First Prize of Hunan Province Science and Technology Progress Award.

实验室是国家级和省部级创新团队。目前有固定人员45人，其中教授13人。主要由中青年教师组成，平均年龄36岁。现有国家级人才6人，省部级人才8人。实验室是电子科学与技术国家重点学科信息感知与智能系统方向，计算机科学与技术国家双一流学科数据科学与大数据方向的建设责任单位。实验室平均每年培养硕士毕业生100余人，博士毕业生30余人，获得省部级优秀博士论文奖12项。实验室培养了170余名在国家核心军工单位从事装备研制的骨干力量，350余名在国家重点民族企业从事工程研发的中间力量，120余名在高校从事科研教学的新生力量。
