I am curreently a lecture at Guangzhou Institute of Technology, Xidian University since Sep. 2020 and work within Dr. Shi's team. Before that I was with Alibaba Cloud and Hikvision working towards image/video coding. From 2013 to 2016, I attended the joint PHD program between Xidian University and Microsoft Research Asia (MSRA) and was co-supervised by Dr. Guangming Shi (Xidian University), Dr. Feng Wu (USTC) and Dr. Xiulian Peng (MSRA). I received my PHD and bachelor's degree in 2017 and 2012, respectively. I have published several papers on IEEE TCSVT, IEEE TMM, ICME, ICIP and VCIP. My research interests include image/video coding, multimedia communication, deep learning and semantic communication.
