主要研究方向是空间通信、空间信息网与网络协议、等离子体地面实验模拟、等离子鞘套下通信与雷达探测，从事（1）高温电离环境下弹载天线辐射特性研究；（2）临近空间航天器通信传输技术；（3）等离子鞘套下通信信号传输技术；（4）等离子体地面模拟实验技术；（5）高温等离子体实时诊断技术；（6）等离子鞘套包覆目标雷达探测技术。
