    Personal Profile

    Dr. Junkai Ren received his PhD in Chemistry from the University of Sassari (Italy) in 2022. Following this, he was awarded a scholarship by the German Academic Exchange Service and served as a visiting researcher at Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen-Nürnberg (Germany). He then worked as a postdoctoral fellow at Umeå University (Sweden), supported by the Kempe Foundation. In July 2024, he joined the School of Physics, Xidian University (China). His research focuses on the chemical synthesis, structural analysis, optical properties and device applications of low-dimensional materials.
