Personal Profile

I am Peng Gao, Ph.D., graduated from Northwest University with a degree in theoretical physics. Afterward, I completed my postdoctoral research at the Graduate School of the China Academy of Engineering Physics. In July 2024, I joined the School of Physics at Xidian University. To date, I have led two National Natural Science Foundation project and published over 20 papers. My main research focus is the excitation and manipulation of optical nonlinear waves. My research has contributed to improvements and innovations in related theoretical methods, and moreover provided excitation schemes for various nonlinear waves in optical fibers from the perspective of excitation mechanisms.
