  1. 1 Bionic structure material topology optimization design, bionic mechanical design

    Research content: Taking bionic structure as the research object, using continuum structure topology optimization design theory and method, the overall layout design of multi-phase bionic structure (mechanism) materials is carried out.

  2. 2 Optimization and control of electromechanical structure

    Research content: Based on the analysis and optimization of the electromechanical structure, the control theory is used to adjust the structural parameters to meet the design requirements.

  3. 3 Additive manufacturing

    Research content: additive manufacturing, also known as 3D printing technology, integrates computer-aided design, material processing and forming technology, and based on digital model file, special metal materials, non-metallic materials and medical biological materials are stacked layer by layer according to extrusion, sintering, melting, light curing, spraying and other ways through software numerical control system to produce solid.



He graduated from Xidian University with a doctor's degree in mechanical manufacturing and automation in March 2007; From November 2015 to December 2016, he visited and cooperated with the biomimetic structural materials and Systems Laboratory of McGill University in Canada. At present, he is the supervisor of master degree in mechanical manufacturing and automation specialty of Xidian University (12 students have graduated and 4 are studying for master's degree). Moreover, he has been invited to serve as a dissertation reviewer in the degree center of the Ministry of education, as well as the reviewers of international academic journals such as Engineering optimization, Engineering with computers, IEEE access, International Journal of computational methods, Journal of intelligent material systems and structures, engineering mechanics, and Journal of Xidian University, etc. He has been responsible for or participated in 5 fund projects, obtained 2 authorized invention patents and software copyrights, and published more than 30 research papers in international academic journals and international academic conferences such as International journal for numerical methods in engineering, Computer-aided design and Engineering with computers, which were indexed by SCI/EI (the details can be seen at http://web.xidian.edu.cn/cuimt/paper.html).
